Before installing a new shop the hosting provider needs to create a writable installation directory, (for example, /home/public_html/lc) and configure and test HTTP access to this directory.
In order to install a new shop, take the following steps:
1. Scroll through the list of the stores already installed and proceed to the 'Install new shop' section.
2. Fill-in the necessary store data (see Figure 15 as an example):

| • | New shop URL – this must contain the full URL of the client shop installation, as it will appear in the location bar of web browsers; |
| • | New shop secure HTTPS URL – also must be a complete web address; |
| • | Absolute file path to the shop directory – this is the location of the client store installation directory on the file system of your server; |
| • | New shop access policy – choose from the list of available access policies. This setting can be changed later if needed; |
| • | New shop modules – this is where you define which add-on modules are to be available to the client store. Initially, the right textbox contains a list of all modules installed. Choose a module you want to make available and click on the left arrow button '<' to add it to the left-side textbox. You can add modules one by one or click on the left double arrow button '<<' to add all. To remove a module from the list in the left textbox, choose it and click on the right arrow '>' button, to remove all – click on the right double arrow button '>>'; |
| • | MySQL database name – this is the field where you specify the name of MySQL database to be created specifically for the client store being defined; |
| • | MySQL user name – choose a unique user name to use for store database access; |
| • | MySQL password – this field contains an automatically-generated password comprised of 8 alphanumeric symbols to use with MySQL user name specified above. You can either keep it as it is or type in a different password; |
| • | New shop admin login – type in the e-mail address of the client store administrator. This e-mail will be used to gain access to the Administrator Zone of the store. The store administrator will be able to change it to a different one later on; |
| • | New shop admin password – just like MySQL password, this password is generated automatically and is comprised of 8 alphanumeric symbols, you can keep it or change it to a different one; if you do, make sure that the confirmation password also matches. |
3. Review the details and click on the 'Install' button to initiate the installation process.
4. You will see the installation progress screen in your browser. When the installation is complete, click on the link at the bottom of the screen to go back to the 'Shops' tab of the Control Center. The newly created shop is added to the list of installed shops; it is enabled automatically.
