Managing Modules

Just like in case of the standalone edition of LiteCommerce software, the functionality of LiteCommerce ASPE can be greatly extended by using LiteCommerce add-on modules. All our brand name add-on modules are synchronously released in two variants, one being designed for LiteCommerce ASPE and another one for standalone LiteCommerce shopping systems.

Select the 'Modules' tab in LiteCommerce ASPE Control Center. The list of currently installed modules will appear. To install a module, click on the 'Browse…' button under the 'Install new module' subtitle, select the module's '.tar' file and click on the 'Install' button to add the module to your LiteCommerce ASPE setup (Figure 17).

This adds the newly installed module to the list of the modules available. Its presence in the system is not visible to client store administrators until LiteCommerce ASPE administrator enables the module for a particular store through the 'Shop' tab in the Control Center. When the module is enabled for the store, it appears as installed but disabled at the client store's Administrator Zone. To uninstall the module, click on the 'Uninstall' button next to the module's name. It will be removed from the Control Center and from all client stores as well.
